As a particular feature, the Envy x2 notebook incorporates a stiff piano hinge that runs across the whole rear portion of the case. Attached to it is a cover that folds down and may be used as stand for the display. As the hinge is infinitely adjustable, the display can be tilted at any angle while standing safely on a base. When the keyboard is detached, the device quickly turns into a tablet.

Statement by the Jury

The cover at the back of the notebook shows a very functional design. It protects the device in tablet mode and, as a support stand, enables multiple viewing modes.
