For decades, baby hair has been styled with two brush types: a comb for separating and smoothing and bristles for swooping and styling. EdgeSlick combines the two brushes into a single beauty tool. The styler’s ergonomic handle fits comfortably in the user’s hand. When not in use, the styler docks into an at-home stand, and a travel cap allows the user to take it with them on the go. Furthermore, the product’s shape enables the user to scoop styling gel to aid in the styling process. When exploring existing edge stylers on the market, the most difficult challenge is recycling them at the end of their relatively short lifespan. The EdgeSlick has been designed to allow the user to disassemble the head and reuse the handle. Replacement brush heads can be purchased as refills from Ruka and stored inside the home accessories-inspired dock.
