The EcoFlow Blade robotic lawn mower does not require the user to lay a boundary wire to mark the mowing area. Instead, this area is defined using an app. With the help of a LiDAR sensor, the lawn mower can detect branches and leaves, sweep them up and deposit them in a pre-defined location. It uses the same system to identify the lawn edges and adjust the cut accordingly. A reduced rotational resistance of the wheels protects the lawn. The jury liked the expressive appearance, the use of environmentally friendly manufacturing techniques and the LiDAR-controlled intelligent mowing strategy.
