The DOCS VALVE is an innovative system for trans-catheter aortic valve replacement (also known as the TAVI procedure). This operation involves the minimally invasive insertion of an artificial heart valve. The device makes it possible to safely and smoothly release the new heart valve without the need for rapid pacing. The DOCS VALVE was developed to transform the TAVI procedure from a difficult and high-risk specialist surgery to a routine procedure that can be performed under local anaesthesia.
