The German Historical Museum has a new corporate identity which stresses its dynamism. The central feature is a new logo, designed to arouse curiosity. The abstract nature of the “D” communicates a dynamic approach to the recounting of history which works both inside and outside the physical confines of the museum. It embodies the diversity of themes and multiple perspectives. A wide spectrum of colours, a modern typeface and direct pictorial language combine to entice visitors from around the world to discover German history from a variety of perspectives.
