Chocolate Mint Balsam

Riga Black Balsam is a traditional Latvian liqueur brand with 260 years of history. Following consumer demand and global trends, a special flavour with notes of chocolate and mint was developed. The main idea behind the packaging was to create a limited series of designs that would effectively convey the new flavour, while preserving the brand’s recognition value and traditions. The two ingredients have their own distinctive character, which is reflected in the subtle illustrations of mint and chocolate, as well as in the textures of the bottle and label. In contrast to the glossy glaze of the clay bottle, a matt label was chosen to create an association with flowing chocolate and velvety mint leaves.
