After eight years on the market, the local food brand Calif in Bucharest, Romania, wanted to be more attractive for Generation Z. The company thus changed their existing menu into a more juicy, fast and affordable food option. Aiming to communicate the restaurant as a point of interest, relevance and a meeting point where diversity is welcome, the name has been changed to “.calif”. The entire design concept follows a dominant pop-art approach and is infused with an industrial style as well as elements borrowed from urban playgrounds.
