Exhibition Design
Botticelli Reimagined
This exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London brings together 50 original works by Sandro Botticelli and more than 100 masterpieces by other artists. The exhibition tells the story of the rediscovery of the painter in the 19th century and the influence of his work on art, design and fashion up to the present day. The design concept translates the curatorial approach into a spatial sequence of different atmospheres moving from darkness to light and from the present back into the past. Views between the rooms allow visitors to draw connections between original Botticelli paintings and the works they inspired.
