The Biwa bathtub is inspired by the Japanese Ofuro ritual, combining the luxury of a bathtub with the comfort of a shower. The wavy lines form a raised backrest, providing gentle support for the back and neck. The lower edge at the front, on the other hand, allows for easy entry. Lightweight multicast material was used, leading to a reduction in resource consumption during production and transport.
