ArcMap

The ArcMap is used for quality assurance in radiotherapy treatment. It makes it possible to perform accurate 3D dose measurements and analyses directly at the radiation equipment in the hospital. Unlike similar product solutions, the system has not just one, but two ionisation compartments. These compartments overlap in an arc, allowing for a particularly dense arrangement of the total of 1,764 detectors and, in turn, a higher resolution and accurate measurement results. The jury was impressed by this “new design strategy, which combines technical functionality with a clear aesthetic language”.
