The design concept of the variable AMELIE luminaire allows users to configure the different product variants to suit their needs. The removable aluminium lamp shade is attached to the other components with the help of a magnet so that the luminaire can be repurposed as a table, floor, pendant or wall light simply by swapping the accessories. “The high degree of flexibility is fascinating,” said the jury. “Thanks to its variability, the luminaire offers modern-day ease of use.” The light also allows users to calibrate the colour temperature and offers stepless brightness regulation to suit individual lighting requirements.
