Altar I
Sustainable production and an innovative haptic approach were at the heart of the development of the Altar I flat, wireless computer keyboard. Made from recycled polymer, the keyboard is divided into zones whose keys are flat, recessed or raised. The lettering is set in an expressive font, while a red rotary knob for continuous volume control provides a striking colour accent. The keyboard is available in both UK and US layouts.
Statement by the Jury
Altar I impresses with its flat design and sustainable production. The unconventional typography also contributes to the high-quality appearance.
