The apartment towers Anthology Hoxton Press in London are built on a site which, in the late 19th century, was home to a print shop. The traditional craftsmanship inspired the development of the typographic systems for letterpress printing as well as the hexagonal form of the towers. Both combine in a characteristic type system and create a mature and expressive typeface design. The printing blocks are handmade from maple wood. Different textures and patterns have been laser-cut to create a modular set which can be arranged and placed on the press bed in many different ways.
