54th Venice Biennale – The Cloud of Unknowing (Singapore Pavilion) Catalogue

Ho Tzu Nyen presented Singapore at the 54th Biennale in Venice. His contribution, “The Cloud of Unknowing”, is an audiovisual installation, which examines the different roles of clouds in art: as a historical object, as embodiment of emptiness, as exercise for imagination or a canvas for projections. It shows images from Ho’s present and past works and offers essays on transparent and lightweight paper stock finished with roughened edges.
