Brand Identity
25th Anniversary Independence Day of Republic of Palau
A distinctive brand identity was created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Palau’s independence. The design for the event was based on the archipelago’s cultural and historical background: in the Republic of Palau, the mythical bird Delerrok represents good luck, pride and prosperity, while Chedechuul is the god of construction and repels evil spirits. The logo depicts these mythical creatures in an illustrative style typical of Palau. In addition, the design concept uses tribal totems, symbols of nature and famous sights, a maritime image language, as well as the national colours of blue and yellow, which represent the ocean and sunlight.
