The regular submission period for the Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2020 ends on 25 March
Since 2005, the Red Dot Award: Design Concept has become today’s largest and most prestigious award for design concepts at a professional level. In 2019, companies, design studios, universities and designers from 48 countries submitted 4,218 of their best innovative ideas and ready to launch products.
With an international jury consisting of experts from diverse fields, the award serves as a fair, recognised and indisputable benchmark for creativity and design excellence in the industry.
Every jury member pledges to the “Code of Honour”. In addition, to avoid conflicts of interest, the jurors may not be employees of the manufacturing industry and are excluded from taking part in the competition. This ensures the highest degree of objectivity when selecting the winning designs.
The ongoing registration period ends on 25 March 2020. Only entries submitted during the early and standard submission phases are qualified for prejudging. The first round of entries will then be presented to the jury so that the experts can make the selection for final judging.
The registration phases:
Standard submission: 7 February – 25 March 2020
Late submission: 26 March – 15 May 2020
