In more recent times, health is an issue that looms large. Whether it is navigating the way to see a doctor, monitoring one’s health or ensuring that the patient have all they need should a chronic condition develops.
Designers are encouraged to submit concepts, prototypes and ready to launch products that present their product concepts for providing digital health services.
Out of sight, but not out of mind
GOOPI is a data-driven joint elbow rehabilitation device that allows medical staff to collect information about patients’ progress and make diagnoses based on quantitative data. The information is then sent to GOOPI, which will provide the best rehabilitation training possible by tailoring programmes to specific needs. GOOPI can be used at at home or smaller, remote medical centres.
Providing a solutions for long term health management
Existing products in diabetes management focus on tracking and providing data to the user. Amare transforms data into direct guidance and instruction, which supports patients in gaining better control and management of their conditions, while reducing the effort and time.
Just breathe
Low technology tools are not generally associated with the medical devices, OPlay is much appreciated for being low tech for its medical and psychological benefits. A respiratory monitor and asthma inhaler, OPlay transforms tedious therapy into a joyful musical experience using light indicators and melodies to correspond with simple steps.
