Red Dot: Where do you see future challenges in communication design?
Efterklang: Sound design and audio branding are becoming increasingly important due to the increasing volume of secondary screens and voice technology. The challenge is to have a clear and strategic framework for audio branding that is flexible enough for a very fast-changing media landscape.
How do you convince your customers of the merit of your concepts?
We know that sound has a massive impact on us humans within brand communication, to say the least. In the same way as customers have an elaborate graphic profile, we recommend they also have an elaborate audio branding profile. It’s about having control over how the brand is perceived and affecting the customer’s customer.
