Living spaces are constantly increasing in price and decreasing in size, and socialising in small spaces requires some acrobatics in terms of comfort. Adaptable furniture is the answer—a single piece of furniture that can fulfil more than one function. THAT FLIPPIN’IN CHAIR can be used for casual lounge seating as well as dine-in kitchen counter height. The snap mechanism allows for a swift and easy transition from one mode to another. The spring-loaded bolt can be manually retracted to release the chair from its high position. Both ends of the seat are used for both sitting and as a backrest. The seat angles in both positions are precisely calculated to provide maximum comfort. When in the 'lounge' position, the chair height is 38cm, which allows for a very comfortable lounge position.
