The ancient tea horse road originated from the ancient tea horse market on China’s southwest frontier. An important way to trade tea, it emerged in the Tang and Song Dynasties and flourished throughout the Ming and Qing Dynasties, as well as the World Wars. Using this as a design inspiration, the work opts for a simple iron box design. The horse on the packaging appears to be leaping into the air, passing the blessing in the simplest way possible.
