In Abu Dhabi, the Department of Municipalities and Transport operates and maintains the transport sector. It plans and develops new infrastructure projects by using advanced modelling tools in order to understand the current and projected future state of the transport sector. However, the enormous volume and complexity of data from different sources have made it difficult to combine, analyse or share it with stakeholders and decision makers. Steam Birdseye has been developed as an interactive tool that allows one to easily explore and visualise complex data sets and predictive models in a consistent, visually appealing form.
