With the reopening of the new Städel Museum in Frankfurt, a multi-touch table was introduced that fosters unprecedented value in the experience of art. Intentionally located among the Old Masters, the table invites visitors to change their thinking process while consuming art. It intentionally provokes an emotional and personal dialogue with the works of art – an interactive application based on an associative and didactic approach to art education. The visitor intuitively selects a topic and is presented with five out of 2,200 questions.
