The Spyre twin piston disk brake sets new standards in the design of mechanical disk brakes. A U-shaped lever arm allows the cable to actuate both pistons simultaneously, pressing them against the disk. The dual piston construction applies greater force and an improved clearance between brake pad and rotor. Designed for road and cyclocross, the Spyre is compatible with all brake levers. It offers increased performance over previous mechanical designs and is both smaller and lighter.
