Scanblue´s 3D scanning system quickly and efficiently digitises the data of the objects it scans. The purist, linear design of the system has a high recognition value and forms the basis for potential extensions and configurations. The jury was impressed by the “both aesthetically and technically successful implementation of a comprehensive concept”. The scanning process is carried out using a six-axis robot equipped with a scanning module. The generated 3D model can be used in many ways, e.g. for integration into e-commerce, AR and VR applications. This means that products can be experienced prior to purchase, increasing the conversion rate and reducing parcel returns.
