Sandwich Generation

For this project, people belonging to the sandwich generation, aged between 25 and 60, were asked about the degree and nature of the stress they had experienced, and the findings were translated into different types of visual diagrams. Five colours were used to represent different causes of stress; overlapping sections indicate stress with multiple causes, while the size of each triangle represents the magnitude of the respective cause. The results of the survey – that almost all stress was caused by work in addition to caring for the family and little free time – are therefore easy to see from the design. The project also offers a self-assessment.
