The Romy bangle combines the simplicity of graphite with the noblesse of diamonds, for the black upper layer of diamond-like carbon offers extreme hardness as well as a low friction coefficient. The coating is created by vapour depositing carbon atoms onto the surface. This process is completely ecologically compatible and guarantees what is otherwise not attainable with noble metals: scratch-resistance of the jewellery. In addition, a special diagonally sliding lock and release mechanism was developed, which is easy to operate. The oval shape perfectly adjusts to the anatomy of the wrist.
