The ergonomic design of the Philips SpeechAir takes the principles of the golden ratio into account. Accordingly, the device is relative to the large front rather thick, whereby it lies comfortably in one hand and the generously dimensioned touchscreen is suitable for reading documents and the controls. Three microphones and two loudspeakers provide good recording and playback qualities. A metal frame, a polished housing and asymmetrical contours assure very little handling noise.
