The Nest thermostat is unpretentiously and conveniently designed and helps to save energy. Captivatingly engineered for stylish efficiency, it consists of a dish with a recessed cover. The raised rim represents both an attractive detail and protection for the lens, as well as balancing out manufacturing tolerances. It is controlled intuitively by swiping up and down, allowing the user to interact conveniently with the device. Significantly lighter and produced from fewer parts than the predecessor model, the plastic parts are made from 49 per cent synthetic resin.

The minimalistic design of the Nest thermostat is both aesthetically and functionally impressive, as it also permits simple control using swiping.
