A Drawing Tool For Visually Impaired People
Native Insect Compilation
3D puzzles are used to introduce ten Taiwanese endemic insects from various families and species, each with its own distinct characteristics, resulting in ecological education-oriented teaching materials of exceptional craftsmanship and aesthetics. The boxed publication contains insect information cards, assembly instructions manuals and puzzles.
Inspired by the concept of specimen boxes, a 3D puzzle box is produced in the presentation style of specimen boxes. In terms of the puzzle box’s visual design, a semi-figurative model, realistic illustrations and novel methods are used to teach schoolchildren about Taiwan’s endemic insect species. 3D puzzles are supplemented for viewing, replacing existing realistic but inactive specimen teaching and allowing schoolchildren to learn by assembling insect puzzles, thereby achieving the goal of edutainment.
