In the development of the markilux MX-4 awning, the focus was on creating a clean trapezoidal shape with as few joints as possible. The minimalist lines and gently rounded corners of the cassette achieve an overall look that harmonises discreetly with contemporary architecture. What particularly appealed to the jury was the “expressive elegance and sophisticated multi-functionality of the markilux MX-4.” An integrated LED strip in the cassette, as well as additional built-in and wall-mounted lights, allows for atmospheric terrace lighting whose intensity and colour can be controlled via an app. Every awning is made in Germany and individually configured to specific dimensions and customer requirements.
