Lorem Ipsum

“Lorem Ipsum”, a term for a wildcard in graphic design, is a short film which combines stop-motion and 2D animation. It is centred on the verbal statements of four art students who talk about their various creative activities. They explore the question of what the difficulties in creating art are and why they do it despite great efforts. The students in the film are visualised in the form of silicone dolls. Each one has a companion, for example a fantasy creature, made from needle felt, which were inspired by commercials for medical products, especially the way they depict diseases as creatures.
