While an open environment offers the potential of freedom and creative energy, these are sometimes not ideal for work that requires intense focus and minimal distraction. Linea provides a flexible means to create personalised areas within shared or open spaces that can be customised to achieve an optimal ‘interior environment’ for better work performance. A personalised space instantly emerges by extending the rechargeable sheet to create a boundary wall wherever one prefers. The interior surface is soundproofed and sensors incorporated into the sheet monitor the user to provide an environment with the right temperature and humidity. An aroma release function also offers therapeutic properties for the senses. When work is completed, the sheet can be easily rolled up and returned to the charging dock.
