The body of the kettle and the matching cup are both inlaid with bar magnets. When the cup and kettle are placed close to each other, a magnetic force draws the two items together. This addresses the problem of the blind being unable to find the proper placement when pouring water, and allows the blind to manage this daily task safely and smoothly. Furthermore, the lid opening button is located on the handle and easily accessible. The button is made with a metal plating process, which makes it cool to touch—an intentional design choice that helps the blind in finding the button.
