Katla Vodka

Katla Vodka is named after a big Icelandic volcano. Inspired by this natural phenomenon, the mainly black-and-white label symbolises not only ash and ice, but also the simplicity of the drink, pure grain spirit and glacial water. The visual background indicates the topography of the volcano, while the red seal stripe on the top stands for the eruption of lava. Red symbolises both the lava and the renewable volcanic energy. The inverse conical shape of the bottle is reminiscent of the form of the volcanic crater, named “ketill” in Icelandic.
