Intelligent Explosion-Proof Rail-Mounted Inspection Robot

This explosion-proof inspection robot moves through petroleum and petrochemical plants on specially designed overhead rails to monitor potential safety risks. It transmits images and data in real time to the respective surveillance centre, and measures the temperature and concentration of toxic and flammable gases, among other things. The particularly small, lightweight design reduces the wear of the rails. The emergency stop button is easily accessible and the indicator lights are placed in a clearly visible position. In addition, the indicators flash at different speeds and in different colours to make the current operating status recognisable at a glance.
