Inspire - The Long COVID Rehabilitation Platform

Inspire is a rehabilitation platform designed to aid in the clinical diagnosis of long COVID. It supports rehabilitation by tracking the evolution of the user’s symptoms, collecting consistent data and providing a community of knowledge-sharing between patients and researchers. Inspire provides a user-friendly interface for users to type in their long COVID symptoms and to update the status of their symptoms on a daily basis. As an option, a smart health tracker can be paired with the app to log blood oxygen, heart rate and peak-flow figures for more precise monitoring. Researchers then use the daily updated data collected from all users to provide medical guidance tailored to the user. The system connects users who have similar symptoms to share information, raise awareness and support one another in their recovery process. Additionally, the app helps the user increase body awareness and feel in control of their health, while providing useful information through user- friendly interactions to support them in developing healthier habits.
