When using the Hickies Lacing System, many problems experienced with conventional shoelaces can be avoided. Made from a patented thermoplastic material, the flexible laces are drawn through each pair of lace holes and fastened to each other simply by using pressure. Once installed, a shoe can be pulled on and off without tying or loosening laces each time.
