Help Me

Made to be sharp, knives aren’t designed with comfort in mind. The motion of chopping through food is a two-handed affair that relies on great amounts of pressure applied from above by a supporting hand. At best, it is uncomfortable; at its worst, it can cause pain and injury. A slim metal chamber couched in a bed of plump silicone, Help Me seeks to remedy that by cushioning the dull, yet cutting backbone of knives for easier food preparation. The metal part within provides strength and distributes weight evenly, but it also serves as a blade polisher that can be used on the sharp edge of knives to keep them clean and keen.
