The ValiPak sealing system is designed for the efficient heat sealing of medical packaging in doctors’ and dentists’ practices, ensuring maximum process reliability in terms of reproducibility. Despite its compact design, it offers convincing performance as a fully validatable system. During the sealing process, the device continuously monitors the key packing parameters of temperature, contact pressure and sealing time. In the unlikely event of a malfunction, an integrated alarm function alerts the user to the non-conformity. This ensures that the package is securely sealed and guarantees that sterilised instruments remain sterile until used on the patient. In designing and developing this sealer, particular importance was attached to ergonomic aspects, easy cleaning and the efficient use of raw materials. Furthermore, the device’s energy-saving heating system and its stand-by function ensure that it is economical to operate. The design is pared down to the essential elements and the unit conveys an impression of solid, high-quality construction. Compared to larger units for hospitals or the medical industry, the sealing unit occupies very little space, making it particularly suitable for smaller medical facilities.
