Growing Up is a five-page long fantasy comic. It illustrates the story of a demon child who, together with a group of friends, travels to the lava pits in hell to act on a dare. The demon child fails in accomplishing the dare but is saved, just in time, by his mother. The story is told exclusively through illustrations. The individual panels predominantly feature red, orange and black to evoke an underworld-like atmosphere. The characters have been designed in the style of fantasy figures.
