Floorometry is a modular, high-performance entrance flooring system which is made up of elements that can be laid just like tiles. This innovative floor covering was developed to give free rein to architects’ and designers’ creativity without losing sight of the practical aspect. Each element is 45.7 by 45.7 cm in size and consists of a removable surface layer (for thorough cleaning), a structural construction element, a fixed plate for dirt and a sheet which separates the tile surface from the adhesive. The elements are fixed to the floor with epoxy resin or concrete. Floorometry is highly flexible and can be used alongside many other materials such as carpets or floor coverings in plastic or stone, with which it can either harmonise or contrast. This makes it possible to integrate various designs. The system was developed to stand up to heavy rolling loads and has been certified to conform to slip and wear resistance specifications.
