“Eugen’s World” is a multimedia production complementing the eponymous TV series on Germany’s school programme. The character illustrations and the dark setting in a run-down house prominently portray the style of the series. The plot is embedded in a clear graphic interface design. Developed as an educational game for use in classrooms from 5th to 8th grade, this “serious game” aims at active opinion formation. It seeks to encourage young people to understand and assert their rights within a democracy for the greater good of the community.
