The aim of these idents, developed for ARD, was to promote the brand and enhance the memory value of the logo Das Erste. The logo is placed at the centre of each illustration and animation, which show typical scenes for the four seasons: a winter wonderland in ice-blue and white, a summery water-based landscape, or colourful flowers heralding spring surround and frame the logo, making it a fixed component of the respective season. Each ident has its own style and individual aesthetic, thus standing out from the daily programming of the channel.
