The da Vinci Xi Surgical System expands the surgeon’s options during minimally invasive procedures. The wearer is presented with a three-dimensional HD view of the surgical field, with magnification ten times greater than the human eye. The hand controls allow the surgeon to rotate and tilt tiny instruments with high precision in more degrees of freedom than otherwise possible with the human wrist. The newly developed telescopic arm design increases the range of the system and frees up space for the surgeon to work.
