Consuming Lives

Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s painting “The Last Supper”, this poster series uses a long table as a setting for depicting the excesses of a consumerist lifestyle. With elaborately developed, partly surreal details, the illustrations highlight the impact of self-centred shopping habits on the environment. The contrasting colour scheme of black, white and red underlines the urgency of the message. Thus, the drawings emphatically draw attention to the fact that each consumer has the choice of behaving differently.
