Cobras Brasil XV
In the early stages of developing a brand to represent Brazil in the SLAR rugby championship, a decision was made that it should be more than just a sports brand – it should also reflect the lifestyle of the players. Another challenge was to tropicalise the brand by introducing a typically Brazilian aesthetic. Visual and verbal identity guidelines were developed to ensure consistent implementation. Furthermore, the athletes were involved in the highly democratic design process, choosing “Cobras” as their new nickname and symbol.
