Catchy Crust

Catchy Crust biscuits are used as metaphors to describe each type of soil found in Taiwan, which can be distinguished by their appearance and texture. The biscuit with sea salt, for example, represents the ‘Aridisol’ soil order found in Qigu, Tainan, a district known for its salt pans and high salt content. Another example is a biscuit with gleaming, translucent sugar granules. It represents the ‘Andisol’ soil order that contains transparent crystals as a result of volcanic activity and can be found in Yangmingshan National Park. Catchy Crust’s soil biscuits feature soil characteristics from various corners of Taiwan, allowing consumers to enjoy the delicacy while also appreciating the beauty of this island.
