Barolo Balena

This packaging places the wine Barolo Balena into a context of natural evolution. Inviting and pleasant to the touch, the label recalls a whale in the shape of dry fossil embossing with flippers. The use of gold also plays a primary role in the design. The gold is found when raising the part of the whale’s tail that is not glued to the bottle and moving it to the front top next to the frieze of the winery. This gives the impression of “bringing the whale to life” by detaching it from the bottle. The golden reflections fully express the magnificence of the whale as an animal, a magnificence that it has always represented, in history, in literature and especially in nature.
