Brand Identity
Andersen Bakery
The Japanese baker Shunsuke Takaki came to Copenhagen in 1959 and fell in love with the Danish baking tradition. Since 1962 he has produced cakes and breads in Japan based on original Danish recipes. In 2013 the Andersen brand looks back on a success story of fifty years. Takaki’s children had the graphic and spatial design reworked for the opening of a flagship store in Copenhagen. The distinctive logo combines the capital letter “A” with the symbol of a heart to express the cross-cultural love story between Japanese perfection and Danish tradition.
