2019 World Manufacturing Convention
The brand design of this conference aims to highlight a “new era in the manufacturing industry” by focusing on the creative aspects of craftsmanship and placing the brand in an international context. The overall visual image is a combination of Chinese and foreign styles. Its universal design language expresses both openness and trend awareness. Complementary colours underline a distinctive collage of geometric forms. Contemporary western design techniques were used to construct the Chinese character Zao (meaning to manufacture), integrating both cultures into the conference’s image for its external communication.
